Refund Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

You can try IntelEat on the Free plan before you pay, so you know what you're getting. Because of that, payments for Personal and Family plans are refunded when something went wrong on our end, not when you change your mind.

When we give a refund

You'll get a full refund of the affected payment if there was a defect on IntelEat's side, such as:

  • You were charged, but your paid plan never unlocked and we couldn't fix it.
  • You were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount.
  • You were charged after you had already cancelled.
  • A paid feature didn't work because of a problem with IntelEat, you reported it to us, and we couldn't fix it within 7 days.
  • IntelEat was down or unusable for most of the period you paid for.

Please report the problem within 30 days of the payment, and tell us what went wrong so we can confirm it. We check every request against our records and may ask a follow-up question.

When we don't give a refund

  • You changed your mind, forgot to cancel, or didn't use the app.
  • The problem came from outside IntelEat, such as your device, internet connection or browser settings, or product information that's missing from Open Food Facts.
  • There are signs of fraud or abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles.

How to ask for a refund

Email contact@inteleat.net from the email address you used to buy. Tell us which payment it's about and what went wrong. Screenshots help. We aim to reply within 3 business days.

Purchases on our website are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which sends approved refunds back to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 business days to show up.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep your paid features until the end of the month you already paid for. Cancelling doesn't refund the current month unless there was a defect as described above.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn't take away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live. For example, consumers in the EU and UK may have a legal right to cancel a new purchase within 14 days, which usually no longer applies once you've started using the paid features. Paddle, as the seller of record, may also issue refunds under its own Refund Policy.

Purchases in the iPhone app

When the iPhone app launches, subscriptions bought in it are billed by Apple, and Apple decides those refunds under its own rules. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
